Honor F- April 18, 2026 Honor Flight

The Color Guard of the Blue Ridge Chapter, NCSSAR presented the colors in the welcome home event for the veterans' honor flight arriving at the Asheville, NC airport on April 18, 2026.  Blue Ridge Chapter Compatriot and Veteran David Gunther was on the flight. Color Guard members who participated included: Craig Isaacson (Militia uniform), Garry Linton (Militia uniform), and Ken Weglarz (Militia uniform).

Approximately 700 people (including veterans) attended the event.

May 16, 2026 Annual Patriots' Day in Alamance Co.

Garry Linton served in the Color Guard in the presentation of the colors during the Annual Patriots' Day in Alamance County ceremony on the Alamance Battleground State Historic Site in Burlington, NC.  .

April 15, 2026 Blue Ridge Community College Local History Fair

Craig Isaacson (militia uniform) and Garry Linton (militia uniform) of the Blue Ridge Chapter, NCSSAR provided a display about the SAR and the daily rations of the Patriot army to students at the Blue Ridge Community College Local History Fair on the Blue Ridge Community College campus in Flat Rock, NC on April 18, 2026

Compatriot Craig Isaacson (in modern attire) presented the program, 

"Broken Links in the Chain: Critical Battles in the Carolina Backcountry" to 31 people at the Col. Alexandar Erwin SAR Chapter meeting at Morganton Community House on March 19, 2026.
